Hartford Municipal Opens New Office
in Downtown Hartford

Hartford, CT—In a proactive step to better serve members, Hartford Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union will celebrate the Grand Opening of its new office in Hartford at 523 Main Street on Friday, February 6, 2009. Festivities will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m., to be followed by a gratis lunch.

Invited guests include Hartford municipal dignitaries, Credit Union board, staff, and members as well as representatives from the credit union community. The Credit Union serves a field of membership comprising City of Hartford employees, the Hartford Community Renewal Team, Hartford House Authority, and their family members.

In conjunction with the new location, the Credit Union is making a donation of $1,000 to Go Hartford! Mayor Mike’s Foundation for Kids, in memory of the late Mike Peters, former mayor of Hartford. In addition, the Credit Union is running a special promotion of cash deposits for member referrals who join the Credit Union.
