Savings Accounts
Share Savings Dividends are paid with a minimum of $50.00 in your account. Share Certificate These savings products are a good way to save money for longer terms at higher dividend rates. Terms for 6, 12, 24, and 36 months are available at prevailing posted rates. Early withdrawal from this type of savings accounts is subject to a penalty on your dividend rate. Individual Retirement Account (IRA) This is a great way to save for retirement. Contributions may be tax deductible and will grow either tax-deferred or tax-free. Rates are fixed with 6-month terms. Principal plus dividends can be rolled over for continuing terms without penalty. Your tax advisor can help you determine it this option ir right for you. Christmas Club Account This account was designed to help you put money aside for the holidays to ease shopping expenditures. You can have money directly deposited from your paycheck or credit union regular share savings to fund this holiday nest egg. Dividends are paid with a minimum of $50.00 in your account. This club account is a one-year term starting on 11/1 and ends on 10/31. Principal and dividends are transferred into your share savings account at the end of the term. Withdrawals within the one-year period are subject to a $10.00 fee per withdrawal. Vacation Club Account This account was designed to help you put money aside for a more enjoyable vacation. You can have money directly deposited from your paycheck or credit union regular share savings to fund this account. Dividends are paid with a minimum of $50.00 in your account. This club account is a one-year term starting on 6/1 and ends on 5/31. Principal and dividends are transferred into your share savings account at the end of the term. One monthly withdrawal is allowed. For each additional withdrawal within the month is subject to a $10.00 per withdrawal.
